ECOPALETTE

EcoPalette is a sustainability-focused project encouraging more responsible design choices through a double-sided colour swatch booklet. After identifying that a lot of designers in my course didn’t know where to start when making their work more sustainable, I designed this booklet to lay on a designer’s desk, as an aid whenever needed. One side guides designers through sustainable print practices, while flipping the booklet reveals guidance for screen design. Each side features colour palettes, typefaces and practical tips tailored to its medium. Printed on recycled paper, the booklet embodies the sustainable practice it promotes. I used the design backwards method, and gave myself a brief with detailed sustainability goals for the project.
